Emily | Yukon High School Senior

This post will make me cry. And mom, if you're reading this, sorry, I'm about to make you cry.
I don't know how to start this post so I will jump into what I want to say. I can't get over how awesome my little sister is. She's funny and sarcastic, she's an amazing artist, she's incredibly smart, she has a huge heart for others and is deeply sensitive to the wellbeing of other people, no matter who they are. She is a genuine, beautiful young woman as much on the inside as she is on the outside (as you can see). When I moved away and went off to college, I feel like Emily grew up and I missed out on it somehow. I visited every weekend, but worked and worked and I feel like somehow I wasn't there fully. I'll never get over that feeling, and I hope Emily and my family don't think ill of it. I love them so much, and as I sit here writing I wish I could go back to then and really be the most of a big sister to my little sister. She just turned into this amazing, SUPER TALL teenager overnight. All the sudden we were talking about boys instead of cartoons. We were talking about colleges instead of high school. We were talking about her car instead of her bicycle. She's grown up so much so fast and I'm so proud of who she is and what she wants to be. I was so happy I got to spend time with Emily and take her senior photos, photos that show how much of a beautiful person she has become. Emily is usually busy with her job, her friends, her studies, her art, and you know, just being a teenager in general, so I'm glad we got the time to be together and get some awesome photos. *Wipes tears*
This post is for my family and for my little sister. I love you, Emily.
